Newbie to the forum but not to riding. I've riden sport bikes for 21 years and just made the switch to cruisers. I just purchased the 06 Roadliner and couldn't be happier. AWESOME machine.

Maddog20/20. Hope this is just your online name and not drink of choice.
I've ridden the Roadliner several times in my search for another bike, and pretty well narrowed it down to this one. Even though I don't need 1850 ccs, or enough speed to get me in trouble, I was so impressed with the overall build and handling of the bike that it seems a better deal than Harley, Victory, or another plastic-laden metric. What's your impression of the slow handling of the Roadliner, in traffic and tight turns? The bike still needs to be well-behaved in the city, depsite is size and power.

You see?

Enough reason for me to have issues with my parents. I needed a set of parents like yours. Or caregivers

Dude I was forced to Tony the Tiger and yacky juices.

Thanks for all the welcomes! As for my user name, maddog was my nickname in the military(last name Maddock) and the 20/20 was my fathers call sign when he was an Air Force pilot/nav on the FB-111. So I put the two together as a conversation starter. Seems to work well. As soon as I become more familier with this site, I'll post pics of my "midnight" Roadliner.

I couldn't be happier with the performance and handling of this fine machine, both on the highway and most importantly in town. For a big bike she handles like a dream in traffic and gives me a sense that the bike is an extention of me. Almost as if the bike can predict my next move. This bike is so well balanced that it will give you the feeling that you are riding a much lighter bike.

I'll never speak badly of sport bikes considering I have over 20 years experience on them. BUT, the Roadliner has made me realize that I wasted many years riding with my butt in the air and my legs folded under me for no reason. The Roadliner is truely AMAZING!

DANG-IT!
Now I have to add the Roadliner to my growing motorcycle wish-list.

I think the Roadliners look pretty sweet, but I hadn't read much about their ride/handling.
Sounds great, Maddog.
