| I have a 83 GS650GL. My problem is that when I start the motorcycle with the choke on it will start fine, but when I take the choke below 3000 it will just die. Also with the choke on and I give it some throttle the rpm will drop until I release the throttle. Can anybody help me. Thanks

| May 2007 Member of the month ![]() | Have you checked the air filters also??? But more than likely it sounds like th carbs. The idle may be set too low as well.
