| I received this email this morning and I thought that I should share it with you. Perhaps the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/) can get involved if in fact there is a concern with wheel hubs cracking. Hello My name is Richard Stocking. I am the proud owner of a 2005 C 50 T. Love the bike ,but recently I came across this article on the web site listed at the bottom of this E-Mail. After reading it I decided to inspect my hubs a little closer! Sure enough I noticed two minute cracks in the front wheel hubs. I would like to inform others of this defect. Is it enough to be considered a safety hazard? We all should inquire about it. If anyone else has the same problem please reply. Thank You. Richard M Stocking at rstockin@rochester.rr.com From: Anonymous - Enfield, Connecticut, United States - Question: I'll tell you all one thing, I'm contacting my lawyer in regard to cracked wheel hubs on my Suzuki Boulevard. Is Suzuki and their dealerships going to do something only when someone gets killed? I say sue the salesman, the dealership and Suzuki because it's a cover up. Question: Are all of you checking your wheel hubs for cracking? How many of you have found this serious defect on your Suzuki? We all need to demand a recall due to this major safety defect http://www.powersportsnetwork.com/en...46&quest=57846 |

| Is it truly cracking or just lines from the molding/casting process (or something like that)? I know that there was a thing on here several months ago in that exact regard. People were starting to get concerned untill they realized that it wasn't cracks - it just looked like it.

| They are casting marks and are on the C50s/Volusias all the way back to 2001. Of the thousands of VL800 riders on VolusiaRiders.com and the old VolusiaOwnersLeague.com no eone has ever reported a problem with the hubs failing.
