Default Snap, Crackle, POP

I recently purchased a new 2005 S83. The bike stalled when I decelerated and sometimes while shifting gears. At the 600 mile service I reported the problem to the dealer. They said the ile was too low and adjusted it. The problem continued. At 1,000 miles I installed V&H exhaust. At 1,500 miles I reported the problem to the dealer again. This time they corrected the stalling problem, but, then the rear cylnder (left exhaust) started back firing, poping, and snorting. Frustrated, I took the bike to another dealer and was told the carbs need to be cleaned. Back to the first dealer and was told I needed a jet kit. This was already on my wish list, so I had them install it. THE backfiring, poping, and snorting still exists!!!! HELP!!!

If it were me, I would take it back to the dealer, tell them to fix the problem, if they keep giving you the run around (which is what it sounds like to me) ask them how they would like a very negative report to Suzuki Customer Service.

Backfiring is usually a timing issue, but if it's only doing it out of one cylinder, I would look at getting the valves adjusted.
