| My brothers '05 C90 (completely stock and broke in by the book) routinely gets 48 - 52mpg. Even two up. It has always done a little better than my '05 S83 (completely stock and broke in by the book) did. Mods, blipping the throttle, extended idling (anything over a minute), high rpms and high cruise speeds will eat up your fuel mileage in a hurry. On my current bike just by changing my riding style I can effect my fuel mileage by 10mpg. That was true on my previous bike too. |
