Default Quick release mounts for C90T OEM saddlebags

Greetings to all. I am wanting to get some sort of quick release mounts for my OEM saddlebags. Any and all recommendations would be welcomed. I am not sure if I have posted this in the right place - if not I appologize in advance.

Yep!!! you're in the right department. I would recommend Easy Brackets. Call Dave at 1-866-521-3024. If you have a sissy bar tell him that, he'll send you the longer bolts that's needed.

If you're looking to RIDE bagless, check out the Easy Brackets and Ghost Bracket Systems:

http://www.easybrackets.com/

If you are just looking for an easy maintenance and cleaning system and don't plan to RIDE without your bags, here's one that's easy on the budget at $22.00 shipped.

Thumbs up

yep, Easy and Ghost. Pretty much the same thing, so King's choice. I got the Easy Brackets for my C50T last week. Love, love, love them! Your kit # if you go with the EB's will have a "br" in it. Stands for "bracket", i.e., longer bolts for sissy bar bracketry (as mentioned in earlier post).

One of the locks doesn't go all the way over to a 90-degree angle when docked/locked. That's fine; it's still locked to the docking post. It's just the way the molded plastic on the backside of the stock bags is.

I also got the carrying strap. Seemed a bit pricey ($3, but now I'm glad I did as I gave it a test run and saw how easily and handily it carries the two bags like a suitcase. You actually lock the strap onto the bags just like you lock the bags to the EB's.

Pretty heavy-duty materials used; good looking docking posts; overall, nice design...

Here's a few pix, btw: Hope they help... One shot of EB's from rear; one from overhead; and one w/o the bags showing just the docking posts.

Moccsplace.com has a easy on/off kit for your saddlebags, or you can make them yourself with about 5 bucks worth of parts. Basically you remove your bags with the twist of a wingnut and the fender stays fastened securely.

Mocc is right!!! But if you are going to choose between the Ghost or the EZ-Brackets,,, go with the EZ brackets. They are just better built and constructed. Outstanding customer service. But I hear Moccs setup is pretty cool too if you are going that route.

Guys ... please ... if there is some spam or p0rn posted, just click the button on that post. That will raise a huge red flag and open the gates that let us out of our cages so that we can clean up the mess.

Please don't post a bunch of comments asking us to remove the post - there are upwards of 20,000 threads on this forum, we can't possibly watch all of them.

Thanks!
