| I've installed an Easy Bracket a few days ago on my 06 C-50, now I'm thinking about installing a Suzuki sissy bar. Will the Easy Bracket docking post be long enough? Thanks.

| May 2007 Member of the month ![]() | I am not sure about the C50,, but the stock bolts that I had were not long enough on the "LC". In fact the ones they sent me were just the right length,, but I told them I had a factory backrest and easybrackets was nice enough to send me four bolts which were just a tad longer than the ones they send out normally all at no extra charge. I also had a problem with the brackets bubbling a little. They told me that a few of the brackets were contaminated last year before powdercoating. They sent me another brand new set at no charge as well. Great customer service!!!! I think you will love those brackets!!!! Just call EZ brackets and talk to them. They will probably send you the right length bolts anyways.

| The sissy bar will come with longer bolts then the stock bolts.

Just let them know when you order the ez-brackets that you either have or do not have a sissy bar. Might get them to send some for it anyways in case you do not have a bar for the future if you decide to add one. One note,,, make sure you do not remove all the bolts on that bike at the same time. There are numerous posts on here about them being a pain to re-install if you do so.

I just ordered the Easy Bracket for my C50T. I called the guy directly at Easy Brackets to make sure I ordered the proper kit for my bike. There are two kits available: one for applications WITH a sissy bar that attaches to the fender rail; and one WITHOUT a sissy bar attached to the fender rail. Since my bike HAS a sissy bar and it's attached to the fender rail, I had to order the kit with the "BR" in the package. So, to answer your question, YES, you will need the longer bolts. The price of the kits is the same, so maybe you can send your shorter bolts back and they can swap you for the longer bolts. I'm assuming that the sissy bar you are speaking of adding will attach to the fender rails??? Easy Brackets is located here in CA and here's their toll-free number: 1-866-521-3024. Probably best to call them directly and see what they can do. The guy I spoke to was very nice, and that's even with the fact that I called him at 8:30 Easter morning! (I wasn't thinking and was expecting a answer machine). Good luck, Daryl
