I like not having a windshield. .... then again I have not taken a rock or some other road object in the chest yet. ... even so, I do not believe i want a windshield. ... I turned over 2500 miles on my 'lil c50 this week! .. what a great bike! .... I noticed the exhaust tone is nicer/ a tad louder then when it was new ... and the trans seems smoother when shifting (sometimes it does not "clunk" or "click" into gear its so smooth, them I'm left wondering if it actually shifted, until a moment later and relize it did as I ease the clutch out).

ride safe! make sure to always wear your gear! .. even on the short trips.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the ride without the windshield too, I just want one for gusty days and the occasional trip to Mom's (235 miles) to keep the bugs off me.

Blackie1491 - It's enough for me to try & remember to use the turn signals in the cage, let alone remembering to turn them OFF on the bike.

I have the N-41 Classic Plus, but I am really eyeing the N-42 now. It looks even sweeter. Nolan helmets are very good quality too.

Don't worry about your cage, on the bike worry about the cager's around you.

Just remember, all those bikers coming towards you, look at your flashing blinker and say another new guy.

Hi Blackie, I received my Nolan N42 helmet and its great!.
the dark tinted VPS visor works great. I tried it in the up position while riding and I don't feel any difference with it up or down with respect to wind resistance. Thumbs UP.

How is it for fit. What size did you get, what brand did you wear before and what size is it.

I have not been able to find here and do not wish to have a helmet lying around that does not fit.

I am using a medium AFX 77 and have a CL2 medium.

Sorry for all the questions.

Thanks
Bob

I'm at work so no pics of helmet. It fits good. I am a medium as measured and this helmet is also a medium. I have KBC, Shoei, HJC helmets as well, different sizes. This one is a tiny bit cheaper in construction compared to HJC but very good non the less. I guess because the insides come out for washing makes it seem cheaper and little more plasticy sounding when handling it, but I think its because of the newer composites being used and such.

As I said in the other post I got RX Sunglasses, but I wear bifocals, which my sunglasses are not. So I now carry 2 pair of glasses.

I prefer that to carrying 2 shields for my AFX77 helmet.
Did you get your Nolan thru the internet or local in TO.

I really like the pictures you posted, thanks.

Bob

I bought it online. It's great, no extra glasses and no extra shields to carry. AND you can take the helmet off with your glasses still on.!
