| I'd like to get my C50 painted with a single-color metalic. As this is a C50, I don't want to shell out twice the cost of the bike on paint, so has anyone had their's re-done like this, and what was the cost? I'd like to get some idea of cost before calling around. -Keep the shiny side up- |

| I had a bike painted for $250 bucks plus tax, single color with clear coat. I took the fenders, side covers, and tank off myself, cleaned them, and left them for a couple weeks at a local body shop, so he could do the work at his convenience. Had he needed to take the bike apart and put it back together, it would have been twice that.

| Try sending a PM to The Teach. He has his M50 painted.

| Yup, keep looking. I checked about a dozen places. Top bid was $1000, low bid $150 from a guy who would do it cheap if I picked a color he already was mixing up for a car, so he could charge my paint to the car owner's insurance company. I passed on that deal, but went with a reputable shop who's owner rode a GoldWing. The key was to take it all apart and just leave it, so there was no rush and no labor for him other than a simple "sand and shoot".
