| I am a new rider and have had my C50T for about 2 weeks now. My very first tank of gas I had the light come on after only about 96 miles. Took 3.1 gallons to fill up. Lots of idling, listening to the bike, stupid goofy starts etc. Beginning at around 200 mi on the odo, I now go anywhere from 130 to 160 when the light first starts flashing. Takes about 3.1 gallons to fill up. My most recent tank was 157.2 mile at the time the low fuel light first started to flash. Right around 50mpg. Love this bike and you will too.

| Dr. Phil - That's funny. If I got you wrong, Iceman, please accept my apologies. I had just noticed a post on your "Harley opinion" thread that you said that you were "sick of your M after 2 months". I must have mis-read your post. Regardless, I would be "less-than-pleased" with my M50 if I got your gas mileage. If you're getting 30 MPG under normal (even heavy) throttle conditions, that just isn't right. It really should be at least 40 if not 45 MPG. Have you contacted Suzuki or your dealer's technician? Last edited by Carlitos; 04-17-2006 at 12:06 PM. |
