Whats up guys. I have had my black M109 since 3/24. North Jersey. Love it can't stop riding it. Until........

I put 400 mles on it almost initially broken in. I made the mistake of riding a passenger who didn't take riding seriously and have been regretting it since. My beast is badly hurt. Scumbag did hold on at the start and started falling off the back of te bike and pulls me back with him. This is at 2-3 mph unreal. Pulls me back, I rolled the throtle all the way from it. she went air born, he bails. i tried for a good 20 feet to grab the brake and get sme weight up front but no chance. I had to let go. I took all plastics off and frame is not screwed thank god. Don't make the same mistake i made. Hope to have her up and runnin soon again. Maybe i'll get a chance to customize a lil from this may cange te rear. All in all its a bangin bike and am stickin with . Holla if anyone in the tri-state is ridin one.

Tough one bud - I'm surprised the parts are even available now... too bad the accessories aren't though - woulda been a diff story if you had a sissy bar I'll bet. Damn that must have been a tough one to watch.

Wow, it's great to see so many 109 owners joining our group. Welcome to all of you.

Plustikbid, you make a good point about choosing your passengers carefully, but the accident was your fault. Why would your passenger be falling off the back of the bike at "2-3 mph"? Your story doesn't add up and your 'tude fits the situation. You have a few things to learn, it would seem.

Thought this was a thread on who owns a 109, not who's to blame for a wrecked bike.

ex silverm50 here...loving the new m109r, but hating that they've overfilled the oil twice to the point of it leaking out the air intake. Other than that, it's nice..fast as hell and nice solid feel. Clutch is a bit tight and rear break lever is in the way but that's the only downside. Handles nice, turns easy, easy to plant my feet.

Everything's great, except too much oil

(I'll be watching for him)

By the way - in case anyone cares - Mark Messier is from St. Albert and Jerome Iginla lives there.
