Default Another newcomer says hey

Been visiting for a couple of weeks. Have got a ton of awsome info from you guys. Look forward to getting a lot more. Got a C50 last summer. My first bike. Only got to put about 1700 miles on it. Can't wait for the weather to break so I can resume riding.

Welcome to the Brotherhood of the Insane Motorcycle Rider! We are in the same boat, you and I. I also just learned (about 5-6 mos. ago now) and just got my first bike: a '06 C50T. Love, love, love it and love riding. I'm seriously addicted, and have even riden to/from work when it's 30 degrees in the a.m. My co-workers are convinced I'm nuts! To the contrary, I think it keeps me sane!

Cheers, welcome aboard, and be safe above all else!

Best,
Daryl in CA.

PS- and yes, it DOES get below freezing in CA!!!

from NC.

I'll echo what the others have said. The C50 is an outstanding bike. You'll enjoy it. I've put over 11000 miles on mine in the last 6 months and it feels like it's just getting broken in good.

Ride Safe

Thank you for the warm welcome. Went out for a short ride today. Weather
was about 40 degrees but SUNNY. Could use another 15-20 degrees but no complaints. Made an appointment with dealer to get recall work done. Thanks again for the warm welcome.

Hi Freddie, You are right about learning a lot from these fellow riders. I love my C50, fuel injected, water cooled, shaft drive, light enough to move around, heavy enough to play at highway speeds. I just received my lowers today, will install tomorrow AM. Lessons learned from this group. The C50 is my first motorcycle with a windshield. Got help getting my first flip up helmet. I look forward to your experiences. Hope some of us get get together on a ride some day. Clint, snowline Washington State.

Welcome... I've been here for only a couple months, but I was a viewer for a year just before I bought the Mighty Mighty M50. You'll find this is a great place to post comments, questions, etc. Once the riding weather gets better then there are even more folks who get involved.

Bought it from xtreme suzuki in Bellaire, OH. I ASSUMED I would get a good deal there so did not shop around. I had made up my mind what bike I wanted ( I did research that and settled on the C50) and knew I was going to take it home with me. It was "were do I sign ?" Probably could have saved $500 or so from what I here others have paid if I would have been patient and shopped around. Live and learn I guess.

But your riding it now and that is what matters in the long run, you'll spend more on the bling later and never notice.
