Default New toy for the wife

Well it ain't a C50 (She said it was to BIG) but it's a start, not to mention I got a great deal on a new 05 Shadow. Mine of course is the red one, hers is white. Just thought I would share a little.

Oh yeah, she went and got her permit the other day and couldn't wait to try the real roads. After 2 months of parking lot practice she did great on the roads. Next up, MSF in May.

I like the look of the exhaust on her bike.... how much bigger is the C50 than Sabre?

Thumbs up

Big Iron:

Very nice! Wish my wife would take up riding so we could cruise together, each on our own. I'd like her to take my bike so I could get the C90T.

Enjoy your riding together; seems like a great way to stay young together!

Night_Wolf you are correct, 2005 Shadow Aero 750. The reason she didn't like the C50 was the seat was a little to high. The Shadow was perfect hight and a few pounds lighter.

Side note: When I was trying to teach her to ride on the C50 she dropped it (only a small scratch on floor board and 1 broken finger nail). Two weeks later I bought her the Shadow... I figured if she was going to drop anything, it might as well be hers. Wouldn't you know, 2 months later and she hasn't dropped hers...Hmmm maybe she is smart after all.

My wife had trouble with the C-50 as she is vertically challenged. She tried one with a 2" lowering kit and fell in love.

I can truly say that I envy you, I'd love it if my wife would get a bike as well.

Congrats on the new bike. I started off looking at the Shadows. How does that 2:1 exhaust sound? I am thinking about a 2:1 for my M50. Again Great bikes!
