I heard you stick a baseball bat in there and wack it with a hammer until it breaks loose.

Somebody on here said they took like a 2" holesaw with a 12" extension and stuck that up in there to drill out that second plate. I will be doing the de-baffle as soon as the holesaw I ordered gets here. I might try to get that second plate out too if it's not loud enough after removing the baffles. So how do you like the sound after you debaffled? Was it worth it?

There was a video posted here. Do a search and you should find it. When you take out that first baffle, trust me, from the sound of the video, you won't want to take out anything else, it's plenty loud.

^^^What J said...you need to cut out the plate at the end of the muffler first, then take a long broom stick, or something like that, then work the baffle inside back and forth for a few minutes and the weld will eventually start to break.

A guy on the Kawi forum put quite baffles from V&H in his Cobra shorts.
He said it worked out great. Low deep rumble without all the loudness.

I am also one for a great deep sound, but I think is what we are talking about here is just extereme loud sound. Either way there is a time and a place for it.
