when i first started riding, very few harley davidsons gave me any respect, they expected me to boe to them no matter what and not to do any rookie mistakes . i apologize about the last message i was in a rush and wanted to prove my point, its all said and done but hey, better late then never. now as for the quick spelling, i rarely quick spell when writing but i do abbreviate, but hey i am a college student my bad. i meant my apology haha

Is it to much to ask for you to at least attempt proper grammar, maybe some capitalization now and than.

If you are moved to answer a post, it's just common courtesy to put a little thought into what you write, maybe reread your post before you submit it. This isn't grade school.

Your Post makes no sense at all. It sounds like you are saying the machine it self doesn't give you any respect, and that's just dumb. Does your bike give me any respect?

If you are saying the riders of Harley's don't give you any respect, my first question would be. Do you talk the same way you type?

Really dude, go back and read your post, if you put something down in writing that sounds that dumb, than what does it sound like when you talk?

You said. "they expected me to already think i am better than them or something" What the heck does that mean? Keep in mind, the question here isn't what's wrong with Harley riders, the question is, what's wrong with Harley's.

If the weather was nicer, I'd just pull up along side him on my Road King, and snub him, but it's to cold for that, so this will have to do.

Whats wrong with a Harley? Nothing that a little love and understanding can't fix.

and some people can't get any respect....

Even from machinery. I didn't know they were capable of being very disrespectful.

Well if I spend the $5,000 in chrome as Rick suggests I'll bet my new Electra
Glide would respect me in the morning!!

well played, very well played.

Could you keep the budget as low as 5 k? Wouldn't that slide into 8 k before you know it?

Because after you buy the stuff you get, you're going to change your mind on what you have.

I have to laugh at all these people who spend so much money on chrome - its all well and pretty - but thats gas money to me and I would rather ride than look shiney

"Look" is the key word there. They want them to run like a metric though.

actually -- the new Harleys run just as good as the metrics of similar build

I know I know the cost as compared to a metric

comparing an Ultra to a Goldwing - not that much difference

some of the others -- yeah several thousands difference but by the time you deck out the others to look like a Harley -- hardly any differnce at all
