Nice out yesterday. Said hell with the oil change, charged the battery and took her out for a ride. First of the year.

Now if that sun would just come back.

Got a day permit and did a 300 kms-ride yesterday: Steveston village, White Rock, 8 st, route 15, 16 st., route 11, Abbotsford, Mission, Agassiz and back to Vancouver on hwy 7 and 1. Thinking of insuring the bike in March.

Bob, while having coffee in Abbotsford around 2 PM, I meant to phone you but then didn't want to bother you on a Sunday afternoon. Oh well, next time.

Forecasts sound promising!

If you had turned south at 272nd instead of North, right at 0 Ave., turned right at Pioneer Park entrance, then right on 1st Ave, 4th unit on your left.

I will buy next time!

I am just going to jump right in here and say hello!,

Its been awhile Blackie and bigf00t.

Last summer was terrible, didn't get in much riding time.

and chasing your dreams around is pretty time consuming. Don't think i forgot about the man who taught me how to ride my first bike!

...and yes Bigf00t... I wont forget the man who gave me a job and scard me for the rest of my life.....

I think Im back in business, I got my bike all cleaned and buffed ready to ride. Im still working on my schedule...

Hope to see you guys soon...I mean we all know sports bikes are what the girls are really looking at

Well, Well...Look who showed up. Some one leave the barn door open ?

So, we scarred you for life hey....We call it "life lessons" for a cop wanna-be.

It's good to hear you have your sewing machine together again, I hope you didn't give your brother too much brain damage it the process.

I'm sure looking forward to some quality riding time this year, I should have the bike insured in the next month or so depending on the weather of course.

Oh, BTW. I like your new sig. Only one suggestion though. Maybe add this to it.

Motorcycle season is here.

Motorcycle Experience was on TSN tonight.
When I started watching 20 years ago, it was Dave Hatch and Colin Fraser, now it is just Dave .
Good show about the series for young kids racing the CB125R.
$3,500 for the bike, $1,500 for the gear, $175 for weekend racing, $5 for gas,
a socket set from Canadian Tire and a ball for father and son!!!

Atlas, you have to look for a rerun as they test rode the VMax.

I'll keep my eye open for the reruns Blackie. I'd be interested to see some footage on test runs. I bought the latest MC mag, Cycle something or other, where a detailed test run was made between the BKing and VMax. A good read. And Blackie, you're right in the ballpark on HP...I've seen dyno charts anywhere from 187 to 197 HP.
I was in at Western Powersports last week where they took delivery of the new VMax for a customer. He allowed the sales guy I was talking with, take the VMax for a burn around the lot. He couldn't believe how effortless it was to break the rear tire loose with a simple twist of the throttle.

Thanks for the pics Snafu. I've heard of the Carbon bike, but had never seen it. Seems a bit much for my taste. I have seen a blacked out version that looked pretty cool. I took lots of shots of the 09 Vmax at our MC show in January. I was more impressed in person than I'd have thought.
At $21,999, it's a niche market all right.

I was there this PM. Waste of time! Nothing so special. It didn't look like they were closing down a megastore. One thing that caught my attention was Motul 4T oil at half price, though. Apparently, the sale is open to public this Saturday.
