Ha Ha, Can't hold it against 'em. Gotta love the Yamaha line-up, they have some beautiful machines.

Hey Blackie, do you still ride with Andrew (Damian) ? He worked for me about a year ago and still drops by every once and a while to say hi.

I'm getting the riding "Itch" too Alas, I walk by my hibernating bike a couple of times a week and just HAVE to sit on her and dream.....You ready for more snow on Tuesday ?

What is this nonsense you speak of !?
I heard flurries were supposed to arrive yesterday...and saw only sun.
I guess we might as well get it over with. I'm sending some parts down to Fresno, California for chroming next week, so I'm not in a position to ride anyway. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

The last time I saw Andrew was at the Motorcycle Show, either last year or the year before.

As for snow, forget it, I shoveled enough a few weeks back to last me for the next year or 2.

So, Darren, you are spending my donut money on your chrome!!!!
Do you expect it to make your Yamaha faster.

If it was last year, I believe he introduced me to you. I seem to remember Andrew talking to a fellow who was with his son ? Was that you ?

That was me.

I met Andrew through this site, he was looking for some one to help obtain his
motorcycle endorsement. He did not have anybody to ride with him.
I used to go over twice a week so he could get his seat time in.

Yeah Bob, I was going to mention that. The economy being what it is, and the price of chrome and all, you may have to settle for timbits.

And I tried to think of some witty little thing to say about Suzuki's, but what can I say. My 805cc Suz was perfect for me to get my feet wet, so that I could progress to a REAL motorcycle, with REAL HP...

Looking forward to some riding with you fellas. Maybe we can fit in the Duffy Lake loop this summer. Since it's at least a 7 hour day, we can get an early start. That way Bob will get home in time for his afternoon nap.

Got to do an oil change and then I am good to go on the bike.

They still say computers are supposed to make our lives easier...yeah right. Just when I get a computer just the way I like it, it slows down and gets temperamental.

I still have to do an oil change as well. What oil you planning to use?
Still waiting for my parts to arrive at the chromers. Man time goes slow when your waiting for MC stuff.

I just drop into Canadian Tire for the filter and oil.
I got one of those motorcycle lifts when they were on sale, stored it under my unit and still have not used it.

Motormaster premium motorcycle oil 10w40
Fram oil filter314-6018 (PH601

I use a K&N air cleaner and once a season I rinse and re oil.

other oil filter #'s
Napa Gold 1359
STP SMO -18
Purolater ML6818
Suzuki OEM 16510-06B01 for cross reference.

Having said that does the m use the same oil filter?

The M50 takes a Suzuki 16510-03G00-X07 filter. Being in the auto industry, I'm not a big fan of Fram filters. I cut one open a while back and the pleats seem a little sparse and thin for my liking. The factory filters are ridiculously expensive, but it gives me peace of mind when using them.

Hey Bob,
I like the doughnuts at Timie's but their coffee is too weak for me. How about Starbucks at Lynden, we could export the doughnuts there?
Looking forward to opening the riding season!
E.
