Hi Andrew

96 Zx6r was my oldest sons last bike. 21,000 kms is not much.
We will have to get together for a ride.
Moving on the 27th, should be available after the July 1st weekend. ( unless the wife has a large to do list)

Just take it easy on the bike and SHOULDER CHECKS!!!

Ride safe and enjoy.

Bob

Sounds like you had a good ride.
This picture is outdated, I have since added an OEM Lightbar and Engine Guard.
I wanted bags and a windshield, which the brochure called a T, but when they finished prepping it, the sticker on the side said C50. Some people might be distressed by this, but not me.

Spent 4 days getting to Hyder - lots of friends up through that country to stop and talk to. Speeded it up on the way back - two days Stewart to Whistler, then a third short ride home. Longest one day odometer reading was 746 k, in 9 hours 20 minutes riding time. Obviously room for improvement. I'm too easily distracted by things I see along the way.

The idea of the ride is to enjoy not to cover miles.
Got to stop and smell the Roses.

Hey Darren, have you been busy?
This weather has not been the best lately.
Managing to get a couple of days riding in per week. How about you?

Hey Darren, have you been busy with the kids out of school.
I assume you have been out fishing a lot.
We are moved in and just about all unpacked, has cut into my riding time.
Living on 0 Ave, I hear lots of bikes going past every day.

My youngest son is racing at Mission this weekend.
He is driving in the Pro Mod Class and has another car being raced in another class. Both are racing for a Wally Trophy.

I hope to get back riding on a regular basis now.

Maybe we can get together for a coffee.

Hi Bob. Good to hear from you. It's been awhile.
I just got back to work, from 2 weeks off. Did some camping with the family out in the Sechelt area. I have been getting out on the bike pretty regularly, taking the kids out in the valley. Last week we rode out the Chiliwack river to check water levels and clarity. The springs and sockeye will be in the system soon, so then the frequency of fishing will increase.

Time has flown by. Last time we chatted, you just sold and now your already in your new nest. Hope all went well. What street area are you on 0 Ave?
If we get together for a ride any time soon, I'm guessing the Timmy's mocha frap would be a more realistic choice.
Keep safe bud, Darren.

No worries Bob, I'm watching out for that touch of overconfidence, the thought of crashing I'm pretty sure keeps me straight.

Hi Andrew. I prefer to start the loop heading east first, so as to get the boring super slab out of the way. Take the #1 east, through the Fraser Canyon to Lyton, next to Lilooet, which starts the Duffey lake stretch down to Pemberton, through Whistler and back to the GVRD. I'll try to get a snapshot of the map.

Heres a picture of the loop as well as other great local rides. Look on the Duffey Loop link for more photos and info.

Hey Andrew, that link to the Map of Destinations was their first ride
"Dusty Lake Loop". My son rode that on his 96 6ZXR either in 96 or 97.
He said it was a great ride.

Darren, where you been hiding. Trying to fish the Fraser dry?

Hey Bob. Been trying to hit the Fraser AMAP, however the DFO closed it last Monday...and the sockeye opening never came to fruition.

I just spent $300 on a new Daiwa baitcaster, and they go and close the Fraser! Never even had a chance to cast it yet. Oh well, it'll come in handy for the fall season.

Had a family reunion this past weekend in Courtney. Took the bike over and got some seat time in. A couple of my nephews brought there bikes over as well. So we took advantage of the breaks in the weather. That being said, the heavens opened up on my ride home, which put my equipment to the test. It's been awhile since I've ridden in that kind of rain.

Thinking of doing the Duffey lake loop as well sometime in the next three weeks. Interested?

Be safe, Darren.

With the moving and getting settled in, my seat time has dropped to a tank every week or 2. So let me know if you plan on Duffy Lake.

Andrew, you are supposed to paint in the off season!!!

Who's turn to spring for coffee?
