I'll PM one of them to find a good site. Thanks.
I've been out on the bike a few times since I've been back. This rain is relentless! Completely different winter from last year.
I did manage to get some moss killer down on the lawns during that brief window of sunshine.
I much prefer Hawaiian rain...it's alot warmer, and if it lasts longer than an hour you can drive 10 minutes down the road and lather on the sunscreen.

By this time tomorrow we will have set another rain record, this time the most rain in March, twice the normal amount. Feb. had flood warnings and now March has flood warnings.

I am more than willing to share this rain with say ....TEXAS!!!!!

Perhaps I should trade the C50 on a Jet Ski!!!!

If you do decide to trade, make sure you get rid of the chaps as well. I don't think the GVRD is ready to see chaps on a jet ski...regardless of how distinguished you are.

Rowdy gave me a tip on resizing pics that I have yet to try. I'm at work today and probably won't have time to resize them until my days off.
What is this sun in which you speak of? Have you actually seen it, or is Wayne Cox messing with us?

Hey Darren, you getting out on the bike any.
I have about 4-500 kms this past week. Yesterday it was better out in the Valley, no wind.

Have you managed to get those chaps on?

Spring is coming!!!

I've only gotten out for an hour here and there, other than my commute to work. I haven't had a full day to myself.
LOL at the chaps. I haven't bothered to put them on for small rides. But this morning, I checked the weather and decided to ride to work. Having some time, I laid the chaps out on the couch, sat into them and zipped them up...zippers in. After alot of twisting and contorting, I finally fit everything into place- and off I went. I'm impressed how well it insulates from the cold against the legs. This is the first time I've worn them since our ride, and to work at that! I told my workmates that they'd never see chaps on this guy, LOL. No one has seen me in them yet, but I'm sure I'll get an earfull when they do.

I finally got a bit of time to download a few pics to the forum. I do have more, but will have to add them later. Since I don't have any pics of my bike, and only the rental Harley, I put them in the Misc. file, which is fairly empty. It looks as though most guys put pic's in the members bikes category. When I get some updated pic's of the M, I'll submit more pics in the bike gallery.

The wife and I were out in the car today.
We had lunch in Harrison and as we were passing the pub/liquor store, there must have been 75 sportbikes there with more arriving as we passed.

When we passed the Sasquatch Inn there were Harley's and cruisers there.
Before we hit Mission we passed another 100 bikes heading East.

We had headed out around 10 am and was still overcast and saw few bikes but when the sun came out, out came the bikes.
Great day for a ride.

Hopefully more sun is coming.

My plan WAS to overseed my lawn and fertilize....now it is to just pour another cup of coffee and watch these monster flakes.
They are talking about sun this afternoon. Was hoping to ride to work tonight.

I would hold off on the overseeding till the nights warm up a few degrees
and no steady rain to wash them into piles or away altogether.

I had hoped for a break in the weather to get out on the bike.

I ended up doing our taxes instead. So now I have to send Mr. Harper some of my gas money!!!!!

Hi Bob
Yes. It was a great trip although the fishing was slow. We had to work hard for them. This particular lake has rainbows up to 12 lbs., and it's reported by a reliable source that locals have been known to land 100 a day. The lake itself has beautiful shoals with sunken islands which normally makes for fantastic chironomid fishing but it was just a bit too early. The ice had been off the lake for only 7 days when we arrived. Four days later and the fishing had improved quite a bit already. My fish were in the range of 1.5 to 3 lbs. which are nice but on the smaller side for this lake. It was blue skies for most of the trip with temps of 18-20° C. My buds were rapped like shieks on the water, while I just restoked my tan.

It was just great to get out and wet a line. It was funny watching the expressions of the guys heading back home on the Coquihalla towing ski-doo's, and us towing boat trailers with pontoon boats strapped on top. Every lake we passed en route was still frozen...except for our gem of course.

Can't wait now for it to get into peak season so I can take each of the girls, one on one, for some serious fishin'.

You been getting much seat time?

Got out twice last week. put on around 500 kliks.

If your are looking for large trout, head for Atlin lake.
The record out of there is 70 lbs. It is the largest lake in B.C.
To drive there you have to drive the AlCan highway into the Yukon and turn into BC at Jakes corner. They have house boat rentals, so you can take the whole family. Any time onshore is no trace camping. Awesome area.

The Lakes in the area have lots of fresh water shrimp so the fish are large.

Sounds beautiful Bob, but I do most of my lake fishing out of a pontoon boat or float tube, so I enjoy smaller, scerene lakes with big fish.(Less water to cover )
I hear the rivers up there are phenomenal though. Maybe some day I'll make the trip.
