Good to hear Bob. Go figure the sun comes out when I'm tied to work.
Still haven't been out. BTW, that last storm somehow made it by my surge protector and fried my home PC...A drag fer sure. So if you're wondering why I'm around a little less...I'll be shopping for another system.

If the sun decides to hang around long enough for a ride, I'll call your cell.

It was warm out, I did not even layer up.

I stopped at Holeshot, they said they had one other rider in yesterday,
He rode in on a VS1400, from, Aldergrove, with no clutch.
He had no pressure on the clutch. Not a ride I would want to make.

Right time to buy as most C50SE or C50T's were $1,600 off list.

Hi Darren;
This outfit is where I have had my last 2 builds done.
Good price, good service. If you stop in and talk to Mike in the morning, it will be built by the next morning.

Welcome to Alinx Computer

Happy New Year Andrew.

South of the border is cheaper. A lot of shops are slow at this time of year, except for a week around the Motorcycle Show, which is in a few weeks. So you may get lucky. Wings across the border in Bellingham used to sell tires, I have not been there in years.
Do a search on Ebay and the web.

Also check around for an independent shop, price might be better or they may install tires bought else where.

Hi Blackie.
Hope all is well with the family.
Kids have had flu's on and off since late Dec.
We're going through our major shutdown at the plant so it's been busier than normal. I'm a safety officer during this shut, so 72 hour workweeks are the norm for the next little while. My only presence on this board has been a quick peek here and there.
I AM waiting for an order to arrive from Erik at extreme. Waiting on mini floorboards, wire backrest rack, and the carbon tankbra. I think things took a little longer because I ordered on Dec.8th...busiest time of the year. Package should arrive anytime I hope. Would like to pick up some K Drive saddlebags before spring.

Did manage to wash the bike finally, but still haven't actually ridden since our last time out. With the windstorms and snow, we've lost any bragging rights over our eastern counterparts, he,he.
Take care Bob. We'll see you after thaw.

Good to hear from you Atlas.
I was only out a couple of times since we were last out.
I hope this weather gets better before the Motorcycle show on the 25th.

Did you put some sta-bil in your bike?

No, I haven't done anything to the fuel. I keep hoping nice weather is just around the corner.
I have been starting her up and letting er run a while every couple of weeks. I know this isn't the best thing to do, just happen to have hit a bad combination of weather and busy schedules. Bike sounds as smooth as when we last rode. Hopefully I haven't messed her up.

Hey John! Thanks for the feedback. I'm always interested to hear good experiences from fellow Canucks dealing with US suppliers. Believe me, more than 1 email went out regarding the length of time. However, I understand when someone wants vacation time during the busiest time of the year.
My parts did arrive around the time that was written...so all is good.
Looking at your sig, it looks like you have the mini's on your bike. I haven't looked at the install, but it looks straight forward. Are you happy with them? I envision quite a bit more comfort from them. Later bud.

John...After your comment about Oneida, I did some digging and stumbled on the heel/ toe shifter for the mini FB on the M50. They look pretty slick. Blackie1491 and I traded bikes on a recent ride, and I loved the heel/toe on his C50. Have you done the switch yourself? It's already added to my cart. Looks like I'll be giving Oneida a try. Thanks again.

Yes I do and definitely needed with floorboards. They work great after getting used to them for the first week or so.

I never even thought about actually NEEDING them. Point taken. I've looked all over the Oneida site, and can't find a phone #. Is there a 1-800 # to actually talk specifics? I've sent an email detailing part #'s and such, but would like to actually talk with someone. What's the SOP for dealing with Oneida? Thanks John.

Hi Blackie
I had planned on going, but my tour starts the same day of the show. I had thought of maybe going on Friday, but my daughter has a field trip with her school. So I'll be knocking off work early to attend that. Last years show was good, at least I enjoyed it. Friday is supposed to be sun...would have been nice to ride to it. You planning to go?
