Default Cobra FI2000r

This being my first official off-season as a bike owner, I'm convinced that winter is tough on the wallet. With tax return money burning a hole in my pocket, and nothing to do but "surf" on cold crappy nights, I bought a set of V/H Cruzers. Install was a breeze, and I believe I've shown great restraint in not firing up the bike to see how she sounds (in order to preserve the winterizing job). Anyway, in anticipation of how the bike will run, I've been debating the FI units. I've read a lot of the past threads, but have not seen mention of the new Cobra FI2000R.

I'm intrigued by the idea of not having to tap or splice into the original wiring, but on the other hand don't know if that has actually caused anyone any problem. At the same time, with cost of the Cobra unit, I wonder if I should just pony up for the Power Commander.

Any thoughts/experience/input appreciated
