| Only bike I couldn't test ride was Suzuki's. I test road the Harleys (Sportster, Screaming Eagle Fatboy) and the V-Star and V-Star1100. But I liked the C50 so much and the price was right that chanced it and I lucked out, great bike for the money.

| Not many, I gues I should have looked at more: The S Boulevard S50, the K Vulcan 750, and the one I bought the Mighty Mighty M50. I admired a couple other bikes and sat on them in the showroom: Honda Shadow, S Boulevard S83, and Triumph Thruxton 900, but I never did ride them. I regret not riding the TT900, just to see what it was like. |

| Road Star VTX 1300 HD Road King Victory Vegas Victory King PIn HD Soft Tail Deluxe Kawasaki Mean Streak Suzuki C90 Even though I bought The Star, My local Suzuki dealer has given me an open invitation to ride the Triumph Rocket Three, and the M109R when they get one. I can't say enough great things about my Suzuki dealer. I may have bought the Star, but it had nothing to do with any negatives about my dealer. I just saw and rode the Star, and it was the best bike for my style of riding and my personal tastes! Last edited by Bowtie18; 01-29-2006 at 10:48 AM. |

| I haven't ridden since college (I'm old, but not too old). I have been bike shopping and have settled on a Suzuki S83 or a Yamaha V Star 1100. The dealer has 2005 and 2006. What would be a fair price for either of these bikes? I have seen listing on the internet for the 2005 S83's around $7000. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

| Only 1, C50 I was fixed on the C50 because of the price, looks, and all the good things I read about them. The test ride sealed the deal.

| Too many to count! I have a friend who owns a Suzuki/ Yamaha/ BMW dealer, and another that owns a high-volume used bike dealer. If they have one, I get to ride it! Loved the M109, by the way. Plenty fast, that's for sure. It's good to have friends!

| I only rode the C50 for my first purchase after doing a lot of leg work to find the right bike. Since then I've only ridden a C90 and Roadliner. In a couple of weeks I'm test riding a Wild West Vigilante and Victory Kingpin. I haven't decided if I'll move up but the "test" shopping is great fun.
