| 45mpg is the normal average for me. My normal daily commute riding involves moderate throttle and highway cruising at around 80mph. On more leisurely riding (light throttle and 60mph cruise) 48 to 50mpg is doable. My worst tank 38mpg and my best tank 58mpg. My best tank I was riding for fuel mileage. My worst tank was the very first tank of gas through the bike. I was getting very low 40's until after the "break in service" and had the valves adjusted. My fuel mileage didn't really settle in until after about 1700 miles.
