| Hey Fellas, First bike shopping...I think I may almost be done... I'm now leaning towards the '99 Vulcan. Almost 10,000 miles. He's asking $3,400 but I'm going to try for $3,200 cash. He modded it, including Cobra Pipes, and it's been kept real nice. I think it's a fair price. Yeah, I know. I join a Suzuki Forum to tell you that I'm thinking about a Kawi. But the truth is that you all have been more than helpful, and I appreciate all your inputs. I think it was Night Rider who preferred the Vulcan over the others that I was thinking about...I'll make up my mind tomorrow on the bike for sure. I'll post some pics for you, with specs. Any other advice on this specific bike would be much appreciate it. And please don't shun me if I end up getting something other than a Suzuki. My dream is still to be able to get a new C50. Thanks.

| i was looking at the vulcan 750 before i got my M50, reason for not getting Vulcan 750 (besides the M50 being way better), the vulcan has a notorious problem with there batteries and voltage regualtor....VR in a bad spot and overheats and burns up.....check out this site and search for subject... http://www.vn750.com/index2.php# |

| The Vulcan 750 is a great bike, it has hydraulic valve lifters and never needs valve adjustments, it comes with a tachometer standard, and it is faster than most cruisers, and about as fast as the Intruder 800. It has cast wheels and tubeless tires. I'm saying good choice! I find the styling to be a bit too 70's for me, but that's my problem.
