Default Hand deflectors

I am thinking of adding these wind deflectors to my bike. Does anyone have experience with them? They are made by National Cycle and block wind from hitting your hands.

If you ride a lot in the winter, especially long stretches at a time on the interstate, they are wonderful. Your gloves are now just fighting the cold, not the 70 MPH windchill also. I rode from Atlanta to St Louis without them in sub-freezing weather, and rode back WITH them after getting them as a gift, and the improvement was tremendous. The clear ones don't look bad at all, but the smoke ones sort of stand out and look goofy.

So low speeds around town or the occasional 30-minute winter ride, they are overkill. But they go on and off in about a minute (they are held on my screwing the mirror over them) so I think they are worth having and putting on for that occasional long, cold winter ride.

Gloves OK down to 40 degrees or so. After that its numb finger city. I ride when its 23 degrees and blocking the wind makes the difference.

Turns out they will not fit a C50 Suzuki.

I installed a set of the National Cycle light tint hand deflectors yesterday. The commute this morning was 38 deg. for 35 miles and these made a huge difference. A couple of weeks ago it was 23 deg. and I had to stop twice on the way in to hug the engine. I won't have to do that with these installed. I am not crazy about the looks of them but they do match the solar tinted Hellcat.

I can't imagine that they would not fit the C50.

Maybe they fit in your imagination, but National Cycle says NO, they do not fit due to the fact that the throttle cable on the right side exits at an upward angle.

Check these gloves "Mounted Police Equipment". I bought the Nylon #4296, love them!

I have a pair of Olympia Weather King II, they are the same as the ones on the website but have velcro closures. Below 30 degrees and they don't last long for me. I am now using a set of Biker Paws, and they allow me to use only thin driving gloves down to 22 degrees so far.
