 |  Biker Tradition
I bought my bike used from a gentleman who has been riding for years. On the front of the bike, there is a small bell hanging below the forks. He told me that it was to ward off the road demons.  He told me that I wasn't allowed to buy my own bell, someone had to give me one. And once i get one, he asked that I return the bell to him. As he intends to put it on his next bike. I was just curious if this is a common tradition or just something that perhaps he and his riding friends had done. Thanks. |
