Default C50 cold start problems

My 05 C50 has 7500 miles. Now that the temps are in the 30's the Automatic Fast Idle will not keep the bike running from a cold start unless I rev it slightly for a few seconds. Then it idles as it should. If I do not boost the throttle it will stall everytime until the motor is warm. Does anyone else have this problem?

I have to give mine one little blip of the throttle when I first start the motor on extremley cold mornings and then it will idle fine. If I don't then the motor will die.

I just had my 7500 mile service and got a call from the dealer. They asked me about the cold start/idle and if I had been having a problem. I said yes and when I got the bike back they said the Throttle Position Sensor was off but it should work fine now. We will see.....OK, it still needs a boost, just a small one when its really cod.

I have experienced similar cold start problems. Jiffy - did the dealer say if the Throttle Position Sensor issue was a "recall" type of issue - my dealer has not mentioned anything. Thanks.

They actually called Suzuki who said there was no recall. Mine had just gotten off a bit. Mine does OK unless its in the 20's, then I may need to bump the throttle just a bit to get the idle smooth. I don't believe its a defect, just cold as hell!
