|  Another New Bike Question and Hello All
Hello All, I am new posting, but have read alot of your informative posts. A little about myself, I am 42 and 5' 11" and scraping 200lbs (yeh, I know!) I have not ridden for about 15 years, and WAY back then I rode a 305 CA77 Honda Dream. Don't see many of those anymore! Anyway, being in So. California, I got the bug to ride once again (it's still in the 70's here. Looking for a ride to commute to my office and weekend joy rides (also to use carpool lanes.) I have narrowed down my search to three bikes: Vstar 650 Vulcan 500 C50 I am really leaning towards to C50 and can get one OTD for 6300 and insurance for 150 Year. I have sat on this bike and it seems confortable to me. Also got to love it's looks. The Vulcan doesn't feel quite as comfortable and actually seems abit heavier - I know it don;t make sense. But can get one for about 4800 OTD THe VSTAR seems like a nice "all around bike." But at only 600 less than the C50...I feel that the added CC FI and water cool easily make up the price. When I talked to the Suzuki/KAWA Dealer he said the Vulcan 500 is a "girls" bike and I should get the C50??? Nice huh! Advance thanks for any recommendations? BTW...I klnow it is a good idea to buy used, but am really leaning towards having a new ride. I have looked at several used bikes and the price difference doesn't seem worth the risk of buying used.
