Unhappy A month of me and my first bike

it's been over a month now since i purchased my bike and checked in. Was enjoying riding mostly on the weekends and then my excitment came to an end when i took the MSF course. I thought it was a complete waste of my time. After 10 hours I walked away not having learned a thing other than the fact that Wille Davidson wears hearing aids.

I didn't even go back for the second day, partly because I had a migraine but I honestly don't know if I would have returned. I learned more from my private lessons, the proficient motorcycling books and a couple of dvds. I don't even have really the urge to go riding again. It's almost like i have to kind of force my self to get back on the horse kind of thing. I have a friend who had the same experiance with the course. Have any of you had a bad experiance?

Another thing i was interested in is now that I have to go and take the DMV driving test, I was interested to know if anyone in here is from california and what their test was like. here in glendale, we have cones and circles to go around. I was just curiouse to know the different tests in different parts of california. I know all states are different. some very easy and some very hard.

If anyone has any tips on getting my excitment back I'm all ears!
