Default 1400 Price Quote?

What should one reasonably expect to pay for a new '04 Intruder 1400?

Default $8300 is the msrp

$8300 I believe is the msrp, so expect to pay at least a couple hundred more, and that is bare, with no extras.
If you are know bikes pretty well, or if you know someone who does, and want to save some cash, you can by a used one a lot cheaper. There are a lot of people that take good care of them that have them for sale for one reason or another.
I just bought a 2002 for $6300. I know I paid more than the blue book retail, but it is in excelent condition with everything on it; windsheild, bags, crash bar with highway pegs, drag pipes, and extra chrome fittings. I think I got a pretty good deal.
Like I said, if you're not sure, take a friend with you that knows bikes.

Default Taxes

Keep in mind the taxes on a new bike. Depending on what state you're are in, you may have to pay little or no taxes on a used bike, even a slightly used one.

Good luck!!!
