Default C50T question

Hello all, I brought my new 06 C50T home about 3 weeks ago and really love it. I traded in my 03 100th Anniversary Edition 883 Sportster on it and have not looked back. The quality of ride and comfort level of the Suzuki are far superior than my sporty. I was never able to get comfortable on my Sportster. My back and shoulders would tighten up after riding as little as 30 minutes. In contrast, I find the C-50T to be extremely comfortable, such as the seat position, handlebar pullback, foot boards positioning, etc. In short, I am truly thrilled with the bike!

Now to my first question. I am the type of guy who likes to be able to take off some of the accessories now and then depending on my mood. When riding alone I thought it would be nice to be able to remove the sissy bar for a different look. After removing it, I realized I would need some type of "grab Bar" to fill in the open space that occurs once the sissy bar backrest is removed. Has anyone experienced this and does anyone have any suggesstions?

My second question is regarding the windshield. I was thinking about having the windshield "cut-down" or otherwise reduced in height. I am about 5'6" and when the windshield is at it's lowest setting I still have to look though it rather than over it. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I will post some pics of my bike in the next couple of days.....thanks
