Got a flat rear tire with what looks like a standard nail puncture. Haven't pulled the nail out yet.
Given how much of a headache it'll be to pull the wheel off in my garage, and the hassle of transporting it to the shop and paying probably $30 to get my tire patched (C-90 has billet wheels), I'm really interested in doing it myself.
Anyone have experience with one of those tire patch kits where you ram the glued up plug through the tire from the outside? I used to have car tires patched like that all the time in the past.

pull rear wheel and have shop do it or patch it myself?
