Default Kuryakyn ISO Grips for M50

Hello All....

I purchased some ISO Kuryakyn grips for my M50. They were dropped off today by the Brown Truck. I ordered the Universal Grips #6240. Upon removing the throttle grip and sanding down the ridges left (told to do this in the instructions) it does not fit, not even close.

Now I wonder if I ordered the wrong part number, looks like it. Anyone else purchase these.. if so what part number was it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks..

there are ISO grips made for each diameter handlebar. ours are 3/4" i believe...a lot of bikes have 1".

i have them, but the dealer gave them to me free, and installed them, so no clue about part numbers....

Hey, Danr, have you had your grips yet... I got mine installed last weekend, freaking awesome... btw, do not... I repeat, do not unthread the screw all the way... as soon as you can wiggle the damn thing out... spray some WD40 in it and start pulling like hell!!! Or else, you'll be having a hard time pulling the rubber out and that bolt from the handle bars!!!

Thanks for the info...

I'm so STUPID.... DOH!!!! Yes, I was supposed to order the 6235 ISO grips. Sent the old ones back today. Luckily the company I ordered them from will take them back. They are sending me the right ones back. But I lost the savings from ordering off the internet. Had to pay nine bucks to send them back. Then an additional nine to have the rights ones sent back to me. SH*!

Really sucks that 6240 won't fit, cause cruisercustomizing has black powder coated one's that I want...I don't want chrome. Maybe I'll call them and see if we can get the right one's in black.
