A few months a go, there was a few tips for the install of these grips. I can not remember the thread. Do a search using ISO grips. I used the tips for my install. Took 20 minute, was easy.

Easy install, especially if yo got the ones with the throttle sleeve already in the grip. Just loosen the screws to split the switch box and free the stock grip from the switch box, remove the cables from the stock grip, slide the stock grip off, slide the new grip on, slip the cables back on, and put the switchbox back together.
If you didn't get the ones with the throttle sleeve, you need to ct the stock grip off you existing sleeve and then drive the sleeve into the new grip. That's the pain in the butt part.

On the left side just cut off the old grip and twist the plastic part off with some vise grips or similar if it is stubborn, clean the bar, add the glue that came with the grips, and then slip the new grip on as yuo twist it to match the alignment of the throttle side. Let the glue dry for a few minutes and you are ready to ride.

The glue on the left side has a quick set time, so before you put the glue on, make sure you do a test fit. Like Doc said, put the throttle grip on first then align the left grip with the throttle grip. Try to get the correct alignment before you slide the grip on.

Have to agree with DrBob. This was my first mod and if you follow the instructions that should come with the grips and follow DrBob's instructions, you'll be fine.

Some people have used Golf Club grip tape to put the left grip on (then you cand take it off if need be) rather than the super glue that comes with the grips. I also heard of one person using glue on the throttle side DON'T do that unless you like sitting in the garage making vroom vroom noises.

If you want to keep the grips, if you have an air compressor, shove the air nozzle under the grip and it will pop the OEM glue right off. No need to cut the grip.

Clean glue, then rough up the left bar with Emery cloth. Be sure to use at least 3/4 of the glue. When you slid it on you have about 5 seconds (it really is a long time to align if you already have a good idea where you want it) to align, be sure to give it a twist about 1/3 the way in either direction before settling on the spot you want it to stick.
