Default Safety Bars for C50?

Wife just got new C50 800 cc. Loves it. Almost let it fall over in gravel parking lot the other day. Someone helped her before it hit the ground.

Any links to good priced places to buy some safety bars for her?

Thanks all.....

Follow the link to the best prices on the NET. I have yet to have any problems with them.

The most popular bars and I also have them are the Cobra Bars. Here is the link. They are big but once on the bike are in proportion to the C50.

Has anyone ever had these bars scrape leaning into a turn? I'm planning on putting them on an M50, and can't decide which to go with. The OEM ones look too small to be functional!

The OEM ones are small to keep them from scraping. I have seen larger ones will be the first thing to hit during aggressive cornering.

Judging by my C50, (same bars btw) if I am scraping then it s because Iam on my way down. Floor boards on a C50 will scrap first. Might be different if you have lowered a M50.

Good crashbars should angle up sufficiently on the bottom so that they do not scrape.

I have the Cobra 1.5" Fatty Bars for my 1500LC and the floor boards still are the first thing to scrape. Haven't ever looked at how far the crash bars were from scraping but I know I have never dragged my highway bars. Just the little acorn nut on the bottom of the floorboard.
