Default Headlight Visor

Just installed my new headlight visor, but it's still kind of loose. Even though I've tightened it down, it still moves up and down and slides around on the headlight. Can anyone that may have experience with these things tell me if this is supposed to happen, and if not, how I can fix it?

They are designed to be universal. First I bent the tabs to hold it somewhat better but mine too slide around. I asked cruisercustomizing's tech support. They told me to use tape. I installed mine by using insulation tape. Duct or Gaffers tape would probably work too. I have found that I had to retape it after I was on a highway and hit a big bump. After I taped the dickens out of it the 2nd time I have been fine. Hope this helps.

Mone is not loose and I did not need tape. But... they are a PITA to install. They go against the glass under the metal trim ring that is now against the glass. In this picture the visor goes between 3a and 3 (not between 2 and 3a which is where most people try to put it).

DOHL! Dang...can't trust those tech support folks. This is good info because mine doesn't look as cool. I'm going to fix it this week. I posted my headlight so you can see the "dumb" way to do it (with tape).

Just be warned... that inner ring is a PITA to get off and even more of a PITA to get back on with the visor in there.
