| Presently have a Honda 1100 Shadow Spirit YR 2000. Looking for something bigger. Thinking about the Honda VTX 1800 or Suzuki C90. Asking for comments from those who own or used to own the Suzuki C90: Likes \ Dislikes? Good things \ Problems? Thanks in advance. |

| I purchased a C90 in June and I absolutely love it. It has plenty of power and it is one of the most balanced and comfortable bikes I have ever ridden. I also looked at the VTX, but I chose the C90. It rides really well with one person or two. The only dislike I have is the small size of the fuel tank.

| I got my C90T in August. It is beautiful. I looked at everything. Didn't really care for the looks of the VTX. I did own a Honda for fourteen years prior to this bike, so I liked Hondas. Anyway the Suzuki is a nice bike. I agree that the tank size is pretty small (3.7) but it is under the seat which doesn't allow for much room. Mine gets between 45-50 mpg. It just means more frequent fill ups when you're out cruising. The good thing is that it lowers the center of gravity. I've rocked up some Yamaha's and Kaw's that made me grunt a little. The C90 is not a heavyweight cruiser. Even my C90T with all the acccessories is still nice to handle. Plenty of power, but not bulky. Balanced is the word I am looking for. It's a nice ride as long as you get off and and stretch out every so often. One of things that I think Suzuki should have left alone is the seat. The Intruders seat was far more comfortable for the driver and the passenger. This can be remedied with a Mustang seat so I am told. I haven't done it yet. It's quite expensive. Suzuki also offers a gel seat which is actually pretty reasonable. I just don't know how they are for comfort. Good luck! |

| Do yourself a big favor and ride both. Also look up some old ride reports, both of these bikes have been around for a few years (C90 is the old LC1500). The balance of the C90 is great, (I own a C90T), the VTX1800 is faster but handles no where near as easily. The gas capacity is not a big deal, highway driving you are going to get 150 miles very safely. |

| I've heard from C90 owners that the C90 is smooth, strong power. I've heard from VTX 1800 owners that it is a handful of a beast! Pick whichever wags your tail more!!! DS
