Bought a C90T about a month ago and really like it. This is my first full size bike and I think I picked a good one! However; it really seems noisy in the engine and drivetrain. A lot of clicking noise from the engine and whining from the drivetrain. I also have trouble getting back into first gear if setting still. Might just be that the exhaust is so extremely quiet. Opinions please

As for my C50 ...
Tranny noise ... when I shift down to first gear on the move, she likes to wind down and whine a little.No problem. As for first gear, ever shift a Harley into first?? KA CLUNK !!!! Must say my C50 doesn't do that, she's more polite !!
Engine noise ... Only when she is cold and only for about the first 5 minutes of sitting idle or within the first mile of riding if I don't wait those 5 minutes. Never chronic. Chronic clicking noise may very well be valve lifters that are loose. Have dealer check.

Have had mine for a few weeks with about 500 miles on her but she's currently in the shop. The first gear is the noisy one but I was told to expect that even before I drove her. The engine isn't loud though or noisy.

If it's anything like the 800s, just let the clutch out and then clutch it again. It should pop right into first now.

My brothers C90 was noisy (engine - valvetrain) when he first got it. After the 600 mile break in service - all quiet. The whine from the drivertrain normal. Make sure they set your valves when the engine is cold.
