Default Handlebar end-mount mirrors

Has anyone used these on their cruizer?

My GZ250's mirrors seem so close together that I can't see past my shoulders without leaning my head over, and even the, I can't see behind me with the whole mirror. The arm posts of the mirrors are just way too short.

JC Whitney has them for $19 each, and I am tempted to get them just so I can see what's behind me.

Prolly not as big an issue on the gz but on my m i don't think they'd work if i wanted to split lanes in traffic. Pretty wide as is and sometimes it gets close . But on the gz it should be ok, and if u are having problems seeing behind you then yes by all means...that should be a priority!

LOL ... I am lucky that where I live there is no traffic and there is no place to do any lane splitting. On a typical 30 - 40 minute ride near home, I may see 3 or 4 cars total. The closest stop light is 35 mins drive away. I just don't like trying to use my mirrors and seeing most of my shoulder and arm blocking my view.

I bought the mirrors already. If I don't like them, I can resell them either in the classifieds on here or on ebay.

I'll post pics when they arrive.

I tried a set once- they are pretty much worthless as far as being able to see out of them.

my pickup has a shell on it that makes it very difficult to see cars close beside me sometimes. i have a 3" round convex mirror attached to the original mirror. it really lets you see traffic, even if they are right beside you. went back to parts store and bought 1" ones for my bike mirrors. they work great, but i always take a quick look over my shoulder before i change lanes just to be on the safe side. later, bud

i rode one ride without mirrors just to give it a try. didnt really effect me too much. i realized i head check pretty much all the time. i use my mirrors more when riding with my friends and checking to see the guys behind me are still with us.

i have realized also that head checking is so much easier without a helmet. i wore my a couple time lately and headchecking requires much more turning of the head.

there is my reason for not wearing one all the time....could get into an accident because i couldnt see my blind spot as well! (trapper i gonna LOVE this one!).
