Default Listening to a Bass through a Tweeter

That is how I discribe the sound of the stock M95 exhaust.

At idle phtt phtt phtt...

At 3,500 sounds ok but still not the low rumble you should get from the E string (lowest string on a 4 string bass).

Well I found the solution a 2 1/2" hole saw through the backend of the pipes.

There is now nothing but air for the last foot of the exhaust.

Is it loud?

At idle it actually seams quieter since the tone is lower. At 3,500 it is much more noticeable but still a low rumble so it isn't a head turner.
However rev that puppy up and it will empty a Custom Bike shop into the parking lot so they can see what beast is invading their lair.
I was greeted with thumbs up and nods of approval.

Now it sounds like a 1,600 cc V-Twin

I drilled 3 holes in each baffle last night and it kind of gave it a nice little lope to it...doesn't sound too great while the idle is "kicked up" when cold, but at a warmed up idle and when cruising it sounds great....I may drill a couple more in each pipe later...

3" HK staggered straights. Talk about a rumble, anybody want to buy some stock pipes?
