| Okay, a couple points to make before starting: 1) I already did several searches, so if this thread seems familar my apologies 2) Yes, ZD has ahold of me. I can't deny or resist it. Now my question: Can ThunderMonsters be installed on stock C50 pipes? Now that I have debadged my C50, I would like a slightly louder, deeper (rumbly) sound. I actually like the look of my stock pipes, and as I searched the threads, it consitantly seems that the ThunderMonsters are delivering the quality of the sound I am looking for. Am I off base here? If possible, how difficult would the install be, and what would be involved? Again, my apologies if I am causing a certain sense of deja vu. joe |

| Check their web-site and call them. I believe I read something that they may be able to help with stock "debaffled" pipes.

| maybe i should have done something like this instead of new pipes? i didnt realize the TM fit a stock debaffled pipe...i do like the look of the stock also. but wanted performance and sound increase. this probably would have done the trick. oh well, my pipes should be here next week sometime...too late now! . |

| I called Big City Thunder and spoke to Gail. She said that the Thunder Monsters cannot be used on a C-50's stock pipes. Yet, I could swear I have heard others on this board say they have done just that. So If it has been done, what were the results, and if positive, what was the process for making it happen? As I mentioned, I have done a search on this, but there have been so many comments and portions of answers, that it is quite laborious to get this answered. Many thanks! Joe |
