Exclamation Volusia vs. C50/C90

Hey guys,

I'm new to this site, and new to the world of Suzuki as well. I was looking at buying some accessories on Ebay, but I'm a little confused about something and want to clear it up before I buy anything.

My question is, are there any major differences between a Volusia Intruder and a C50? I have a 2002 V.I. If I bought something for a C50, are they the same bike and just changed names? What's the deal?

Alot of the items are the same. Not sure on the specifics but at least in the case of the C90 and the VL1500LC those two bikes accessories bolt right up. What you could do is go to the dealer also and whatever particular item you are looking for,, say a sissy bar,, ask what the part number is for the C50 and see if it is the same part number for the Volusia. If it is then you will know that any aftermarket items will fit.

I am sure there will be someone along shortly who can help you more. Maybe tell us what type of items you are looking at getting.

90% of the stuff is interchangable between the C50 and the Volusia..... Some exceptions I know of.....

The OEM "Engine Guards" for the C50 will fit the Vol but the ones for the Vol will not fit the C50 (floorboards are in the way)

The turn signals are the same for the 04Vols and the C50s but they are different for earlier Vols.

Chome knob cover not needed on C50s

Brake pedals are different sizes

Gas tanks are not interchangable

In most cases the Air Intakes are not interchangable.
