| I am looking for a good winter motorcycle jacket. Does anybody have any good experience with their jacket in the winter time? All recommendation is appreciated.

| I wear a FieldSheer ZeroCondition jacket year round. ![]() When it gets below 50 or so I put the liner in and its pretty comfortable. I rode on a few 17 degree days last year and my legs got cold before my body did. Linkage: http://www.fieldsheer.com/05/fs_file...r/zerocon.html 3/4 length keeps the rain out of your pants too I also rode with this jacket all summer here in Western WA and it didn't do too bad. I unzipped the front about halfway and kept the vents open and I was OK so long as I was moving but I've certainly seen jackets with more vents than this one and we only get a couple weeks of 85+ weather around here so I was willing to live with it.

| Oh and I forgot to add after riding with the jacket a minumum of five days a week for the past year and in the rain many many times it is holding up very well and still looks almost new. Much better than I had expected from a textile jacket. The only real blemish I have is a little hole in the arm where the armor saved my arm from getting ripped up when I went down a little hard last February.

| I got a Joe Rocket Reactor Jacket from NewEnough.com for $50. Recently instead of procuring a "winter jacket", I purchased the liner,(Reactor is mesh/leather unit), and while it hasn't been cold yet, I was actually a little too warm for comfort on my ride to work Sat. night. Not sure how it's gonna stand up when it gets cold, but I'm hoping it will serve as a year-rounder. The liner runs around $35 most places, but Tonker.com had it for $25, and it was delivered w/in the same week it was ordered.

| I have the Tourmaster Cortech 3/4 advanced jacket. Very, very nice!!! Waterproof, breathable, venting system, armor, zip in liner and lots of well designed storage pockets, something like 12 in all!!! That and lots of little features that make the jacket soooo nice. I bought the matching pants too. Both are pretty expensive though, but worth it to keep warm and allow more riding time in the fall/early winter. |

| May 2007 Member of the month ![]() | I bought the Fieldsheer one piece suit that has the armor built in. It has a removable two piece liner and is supposedly wind and rain proof(I don't believe the rain part). It is a nice suit and I bought it for about $350.00 bucks but supposedly I will be able to ride in temps down to the lower forties comfortably for about an hour or so. Will see since my riding club rides year round. They have a New Years Day ride they do every year,, they say that best way to start off the year is with a ride.

| I wear an HJC full leather jacket with liner along with chaps. It gets a little warm during the summer months, but it is real comfortable in temps all the way down to the lower 30's. When the temp's get into the upper 90's I wear just a leather vest, jeans, and helmet.
