Default cruiser customizing won't match oneidasuzuki.

Just got off the phone with Uwe Drunkenmuller. Says cruisercustomizing won't match the price of the Jardine2:1 that Oneidasuzuki is showing. Even though they say on the internet they will. Uwe says that the price from Oneidasuzuki is below dealer price and no way can they sell for that.

Okay, WTF! I am confused.

That sounds wrong....

Check I think page three of that Oneida thread (BTW-got my money back today). I pasted in the e-mail they sent me matching Oneida's price, actually they were a hair under it (with shipping).

Although, the person I spoke to on the phone made it sound like they were a hundred dollars away, and they apologized. I got an e-mail with an expiration date sent to me. (It came the next day.)

I'm bummed for ya if that's the case, but hold on things will work out.

The box was in EXCELLENT shape from them!

Good deal....I hope they really do make it "worth your while".

Did you get an e-mail from them? I turned their verbal offer down, and that e-mail came the next day. I was blown away. So just hold tight.

Check your P.M. box.

Hi Catherine,

this must be a pricing mistake or they are losing a lot of money

selling that exhaust at that price

Like someone said in Tim's other thread, Oneida is probably buying and selling 2nd condition items and you are playing pot luck with them.

They have been reading Tim's thread and realize that they don't need to match cause ain't no one gonna buy from Oneida any way.

Things that make you go hmmmm. I tend to think that Oneida is aquiring re-conditioned or damaged container goods, dropping the price and rouletting with the end consumer ... again, just my opinion. There are many places that do this, but the reputible ones are obligated to state as such. Hmmmm ...

I can vouche for Cruiser Customizing; an excellent company with great customer service!

Well, even though my pipe from oneida came in perfect condition, it had obviously been repacked, seems how no reputable company sends exhaust packed in shredded newspaper. I don't know what is happening there but it must be something shady.

I never had a problem with the "ONE" thing I ordered from them....BUT I remember when the Oneida threads started here....and it was the price that had everybody-(including me) goin' goo goo for them-(there's nothing wrong with that)...

What I'm trying to say is, I have to agree...with their drop dead very LOW priced items, there's just got to be something, something weird that enables them to do so, all be it a lottery/roulette with ya's...something. I would not, like I said in another post, "I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you", but I will cross my fingers for anyone going with Oneida and hope everybody ends up with what they want.....It's been said many a time...price match if ya can, or get as close as possible somewhere else.

As I stated before, my Power Commander Package was opened already.......hmmn......

Also, I wonder if C.C. isn't sitting there wondering why they have a sudden run on Jardine 2:1 pipes, that have probably been sitting around gathering dust for a couple of years.

Maybe it would be good to tell them you are part of this forum and they are getting ALOT of positive recomendations. Maybe they will offer a discount of sorts to members of this forum. My riding group has discounts set up with different dealers around town to out members,,maybe large forum's could get the same. Free advertising for them with word of mouth.

so what is "worth your while" equal to? how much are they charging?
what are they including?

i was just about to call them when i decided to check threads for updates first...now i see all this...

i will take my chances with Oneida for a savings of $200.

he is going to be checking out our site and most likely this thread, and having Uwe get back to me.

Their automated "Check Order" doesn't work properly. I had the same deal. I called, and some lovely angel (not being sarcastic), forgot her name though, on the other end told me the order was processed and shipped, and provided me with a tracking number. Even though the online order tracker said they hadn't even processed my card.

i got an offer from Anthony, but i am not all that happy with it, i think they should do better considering they are supposed to price match the competition. it wasnt as close as i would have hoped, especially since Tim got them to match.
