Before I got my bike I noticed that a lot of people call the S40s "thumpers." I was a little worried by that. "What kind of bike did I get, anyway?" Now that I have it, and have ridden it a bit, I'm a bit confused. It may just be my lack of familiarity with other bikes, but it seems remarkably smooth to me for a bike that's somehow earned this kind of label. How did it earn itself this nickname? |
