|  windshield adjustment
Well, I got mine and my wifes windshields on today. We each have the National Cycle Supply street shield. I have never had a bike with a shield before, so I have a question. About how high should the shield be? Both of our shields are 17 inches from top to bottom. I know it will come down to personal preference, but I rode tonight, and my head seemed to get slightly whipped around, like maybe I had the shield too high, or too low, not sure which. We plan to only have them on as the weather gets colder, and then off for the summer. So, should I be looking through it, or over it? I have it set right now so I can either move it up a few inches, or down a few inches. It is at about neck level for me. I did a search, and while I found some shield info, I figured it wouldn't hurt to start another thread. I'm new, and this way, I can meet a few more of you.  |
