Default Drove to Ohio for lunch at Burger King

We we had planned an Ironbutt Saddlesore 1000 earlier in the summer but it poured so that would not have been smart.

So yesterday 2 Voluisas and and 1 C50 pulled out of Sturbridge MA at 6AM we returned to Sturbridge at 12:30 AM after having lunch at a Burger King in Ohio. We took 90 all the way out and back, 1040 miles in 18 1/2 hours. Who says the VL800 is not a good highway bike. The only issue we had was cold... It was 42 when we left my house and stayed cold until about 11AM, then as soon as the sun went down it got cold again so from 7pm to the end it was pretty cold also, (it felt like high 30s or low 40's through the Adirondacks and Berkshire mountians). The bikes ran great.

That will be my one and only Ironbutt ride, legs are a little stiff today.

No offense to Dale, but that sounds like a good choice. That's a long damn ride.

I still need leave LA to go get my WhataBurger in Tucson. Maybe in December, while the desert is cool.

WOW!!!!!! That is some serious riding!!!!! Cool!!!! Might have to try that one day. Got my buttbuffer,,does that take away from the qualifications????? My friends might not go with me though. 500 miles in a day,, I can see that as possible,,although my back might not agree.

And we all thought that buying motorcycles was a good idea to save gas... See, you always find a reason to ride it a bit longer. WTG!!! Need to do that going up to SF to replace a part I purchased with Formotion (hey, I just need a reason, ok???)!!!
