Default PC and HK Installation

Hello all I bought Hard Krome 2.5 Kickers and a PC3. How hard is it to install the PC3? Where do you get all the maps and how do you DL that stuff? I think a shop said $120 for 1.5 hours of work. If I can do a quality job myself, I rather. Also got a K&N. Is it worth it? Just to let you know I spent lots of $$$ and I need some justifying from you guys Also gonna do that lowering kit thing. Do I need a lift? Or can I get a buddy to help out? Thank you all!

In the M50 section there is a fellow called Zuki Dude. check his site called Zuki's world has install instuctions and photo's.
But beware ZukiDudeitist is catching and will max your credit card, empty your bank account and leave you with BLING.
His advise is good. his desire to infect you is high.

PC3 is easy to install. Just remove the tank and plug the connectors in where the instructions say to. No cutting of wires at all. Get the maps from power comander web site.

Thanks guys! I love my C50 I just want a little more low end power and for it now to beg for mercy when I punch the throttle. Pipes are easy to install also I suppose? I was looking at the PC website. Do I just use the VH map? I don't see one for Hardkromes. Thanks for the help! Zuki site looks really helpful!

Hey,, just posted a thread on the Hard Krome pipes with the ThunderMonsters installed. Hard Krome claims that their pipes will add horsepower and boost torque,,,, Horsepower on the top end...YES. Torque.....NO. Adding the Hard Krome pipes I installed decresed my low end torque and low end horsepower. Top end at highway speeds it was great,, but if you are climbing a hill, mountain, or are not wanting to downshift at lower speeds you will be cursing the addition of the pipes. Plus my gas mileage plummeted. I do have a carb bike though. I have a friend with a 2003 Kawasaki Mean Streak that put the Hard Chrome 2.75 inch straight short pipes on his bike and he has lost almost no gas mileage,,but his is Fuel Injected.

With an additional $150.00 bucks as an average I was able to get the sound I wanted, restored a couple miles per gallon, and the lost torque and horsepower are back to where they were with stock pipes on it,, maybe a little more than stock,, but I have done no Dyno work to prove or disprove this. Just seat of the pants and gas pump to gas pump observations.
