Default Rode the HD Fatboy this weekend

I have to tell you, it was sweet - i dont know it is was the bigger engine or the weight, but it was a nice ride!! I have the C50- 170 lbs lighter and 750 less cc's, ive never ridden anything bigger than mine- so what was it that made riding it seems so effortless, the engine size?

The lower stance probably. Go ride the C90 or a 1500LC. The low stance and the low center of gravity makes riding it easier than the Fat Boy. If you can ride the Fat Boy you should have no problem riding the C90.

Lower seat height, diff. location of bars.
Seat height can be lowered by using bones to lower the bike.
Also a custom or gel seat can drop another inch.
Risers can change the bars, also loosen the bars and twist to change can help.
A good dealer can take measurements and make suggestions.
Tweaking over time makes the bike yours.
I downsized from a Wing, slow riding, the duck waddle in parking lots is where you notice size and weight diffs.
Ride your bike, make it your own, enjoy.
The grin factor just gets bigger.

A tape measure, Hubby and maybe one other. You sit on your bike in the upright position, find where you want to sit have some one hold the front of the bike, have Hubby take a measurement of the position to see how high and how far towards you, you want the bars.
Sometimes the riser alone is not enough, a good seat maker can reshape the dish of your seat to place you in a more comfortable position.
Another addition is a drivers backrest which makes it easier on your back. This is where a good shop comes in handy, or a knowledgeable riding buddie.
Good luck.

Thank you, I did order risers- and maybe will get the gel seat, ive put alot of $$ in a bike that has less than 200 miles still, lol - but, it is a blast, and my 40 miles yesterday made me realize i have to be sitting right to enjoy myself!
