I have been reading this forum for about two months. Thanks for all of the great suggestions! I listened and then purchased a 2002 LS650 with 1200 miles on it about five weeks ago. It was very clean, looked new and was passed on to me by another newbie who recently jumped up to a larger bike. I have put on about 1000 miles since purchasing. Thanks for the suggestion to get the Hough book on Proficient Motorcycling. Great book! And thanks for all of the buying and maintenance tips. Still lots to learn and I will soon sign up for the safety course. Maybe I will move up someday to a larger bike but for now no need. This bike is great. Thanks Again!!!
